Family Tree WorkshopA Family History Starter Project for Ages 8 to Adults

The Family Tree Workshop introduces participants to the exciting journey of discovering and documenting their family history. Participants will create a four-generation family starter tree that can serve as the foundation for expanding their family tree through further research. As they discover more about their family, they can add siblings, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.Felecia the Calligrapher will elegantly hand-letter the family surnames at the top of each tree, adding a beautiful artistic touch to this meaningful keepsake.Participants will use colored pencils and markers, which will be provided, to add names and personalize their family tree.This hands-on workshop is designed for ages 8 through adults and is a wonderful way for families to begin conversations about their history, heritage, and the stories that connect generations.

Italic Calligraphy Workshop
2 Hours Minimum Class time
This calligraphy workshop introduces participants to the art of beautiful handwriting. Students will learn the fundamentals of Italic calligraphy, including proper pen angle, ink control, spacing, x-height, and nib widths. Participants will practice letter formation, strokes, and the rhythm and flow that make Italic calligraphy distinctive. This hands-on workshop is designed to help students develop confidence, pen control, and an appreciation for the beauty of handwritten letters.
